Not even worth it in my case. The reception on mint sucks so badly compared to Verizon and AT&at I used previously. And the data deprioritization sucks even if you have reception. Good thing i tried it out first using 3 months promos on my second phone.
It's all very specific for an area. Where I live there is almost no Att signal, T-Mobile is ok, however if I travel, like some interstate, T-Mobile sucks while I have some connection with att. Go figure.

What was the amount posted on Amex? I saw $94.xx when trying to load $90 in mint wallet, I have not yet recharged. Most of the addon fees seems bs to me.
Yes, that's bogus fees. You see it during plan renewal too. They keep plan price the same but increasing and adding bogus fees every few months

Yes, likely they would've pay more for better coverage like the big 3 carriers
Warren Buffett is a multi billionaire and drives an old beat up car.

There's a good reason that certain people have built up wealth.

There are plenty of alternatives to the "Big 3" like Visible (technically Verizon) and US Mobile, both of whom offer priority data identical to buying directly from the carrier.

fine print on my 45 off 90 offer specifically state this is not valid for device purchases, only service plans.

For my case, I don't really need 2 lines of unlimited for 3 months each. But it's a pretty good deal for that if you need 2 lines, which works out to be about $8/line per month for unlimited. Not too shabby.
Depends how you buy the phone. If you buy it from the "buy a phone" link it is charged by their 3rd party phone retailer that's why Amex says that. If you buy it from the "deals" it should be charged by mint.

I might be weird, but I have an amex platinum and a gold.

had verizon for years, switched to mint and my coverage got significantly better.

recently switched from mint to usmobile, which is verizon based and my coverage got worse again.

will be switching back to mint at the end of this contract.

fwiw...
You can switch to the T-Mobile SIM from US Mobile (white SIM) and should get the same coverage as Mint.

Hmmm…

Now when I look I have the full $90 credit in my Mint wallet; but Amex shows $94.38 pending.

I'll have to see what the posted Amex charge ends up being.
They charge the recovery fee on wallet loads. It used to be a loophole to be able to renew your plan without paying the recovery fee, that's why they added it there. So your charge will end up being $94.xx.

Did anyone get Amex offer confirmation after they tried to charge on wallet? Or no?

That's a joke. Mint is using TMobile network and surprisingly at times ahows better network coverage than the real TMobil plan customers.

Fully agree. Ive been on mvnos since the 2010s, always drive Toyotas, and crossed a million in my 30s. There are many like me, and many on here for sure. wealthy people don't always act and dress like in rap videos
