Bought the queen size a few months ago and it was way too soft. I've had decent luck with $300ish mattresses from Amazon and decided to see if they were selling the same quality as those at Walmart for half the price and they definitely are not. Luckily I was able to get a refund but they told me to keep it anyway and I had to pay to dispose of it because it was so bad it wasn't worth keeping for free.

I was thinking about the firmness but good feedback. What is the normal cycle for a mattress to be replaced? When is the need for a mattress to be replaced versus "I want to replace just because"? What factors should one consider?

Most quality mattresses will last around 7-10 years. However I do prefer to replace around the 7-8 years.
