I ended up buying this instead of the FP deal for just the DELTA 2 unit...

I posted this there but I'll post it here too:

Other thread has it direct from EcoFlow for $429

https://slickdeals.net/f/17596983-ecoflow-delta-2-portable-power-station-429

This one:

Delta 2 + 400W Solar Panel

End price after coupon: $824.25

If you take the price of the 400W solar panel at EcoFlow ($699 - inflated, I'm sure...) -- doesn't that mean you're getting the Delta 2 for essentially ~$125.25?

I mean even if you take some leeway and say you get the panel for several hundred under the MSRP... still feels better than this deal but kind of went under the radar?

Or am I missing something?

Edit: I guess at least, if you subtract the other thread's price of the unit from the total ($824.25 - $429 = $395.25)

Feels like $395.25 for a 400W panel is a good deal to accompany it.

Edit 2: Electric Boogaloo

Sorry, I had $295.25 as the 400W panel cost initially because I mathed wrong, I updated it and I'm still content with my decision but can see the appeal of sourcing separately and getting just the unit...

Feels like $395.25 for a 400W panel is still decent enough for me.

Definitely a good deal. You can't get the 400W solar panel for less than $499 anywhere so this makes the Delta 2 $325 which is a fantastic deal. Even if the solar panel goes for $400, the Delta 2 would be $425 which is fantastic deal in itself.

Does it come with everything you need to connect the panels to the generator?

Already have a Delta 2 and love it. I've been thinking of getting the Delta 2 Max, but this seems like a good deal and tempted. However, I wish Delta 2 could do dual charging with solar and AC or be able to set AC charging when battery is like at 20%.

Yes. It has everything to make it work.
I'm charging my battery using the ecoflow folded solar.
Just don't expect the solar to charge as fast as AC.
AC charging can pull 1500w
Charging by this can pull around 200W.

Awesome! Can you charge it while it has something plugged in? I mostly wanna use it for an AC so would it be possible to have it set up with the panels getting recharged as it powers the AC?

Here's a sample of ecoflow 110W folding solar: https://postimg.cc/ThXxzZjB
It's charging the battery @ 74W.

Aw man I just bought the previous deal below
Flow delta 2 + (2x100w solar)
https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/17595318

Is this better having 400Wportable solar vs 2x100W non-portable ?

Mainly using at home so portable is not needed.

Thanks!

I like ridgid panels like you got better. More durable and more importantly heavier, so you can just lean them on something. You can probably buy more down the road to increase power.
