Would love to see a cheaper one with lesser processor and smaller case. They always put unnecessarily expensive and power hungry processor in gaming PCs that add hundreds more to the price and require more cooling.
You seem to imply that you somehow aren't getting added value by spending more on the processor.
Buying an i9 for the extra headroom means you're less likely to get bottlenecked when upgrading to a better GPU later on.
Moreover, buying a top end "gaming" PC is the only way to get workstation level performance without the premium that comes with calling it a workstation.
As for the smaller case, this case is already pretty compact. Any smaller and it would be hard to include a 4080.
If you don't need the i9, there's plenty of i7 deals that reach the front page.

Not for a 4080 I don't see any. And these processors are $500+ when a decent gaming cpu can be had for $200 like the better performing x3D variants from AMD. You have a ton of unnecessary cores and 200w+ power draw that many radiators literally cannot cool properly and they serve no purpose in gaming because games are poorly threaded and actual clockspeed (not theoretical with only two cores) and cache is more important. This is NOT a workstation computer. It literally says LEGION on the front, has RGB everywhere, see through side, and only 32GB of ram. A decent workstation would have a lot more ram and be far more subdued.
Buddy have u played any new AAA games recently? They are insane hardware req and i think this processor is spot on to not have cpu bottleneck with a 4080.

Absolutely agreed. Was getting bottlenecked during gaming by my CPU (i5-12600K) with my 4080 [edit: to add more context, in specific scenarios]. Picked up a 14700K and it was a massive change.
Granted I have other productivity needs, but CPU will bottleneck these high end GPUs on [edited for clarity] some non-4k games.
Where are all the 4090 prebuilt towers? Lenovo had them for $2500 and then they just disappeared
Those 4090s disappeared right when GPU export restrictions were introduced. Those export restrictions exclude consumer GPUs so China is buying up all the 4090s and repurposes them for server use.

In my case, I move it a lot, so form factor plays huge role
