Total Wireless wants to text a verification code to the number I'm trying to port. But that phone isn't working. What do I do?
Is it possible you can put the SIM card in another phone?

Tempting as just an emulation device. Don't need it as a phone.
I am new to the emulation feature. Is it available for all Moto phones, or just this Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 model?

I think if you read the terms you'll see that you would owe for the remainder of their full price of the phone.

Someone please tell me if I'm wrong.

Read just below (all of it) where you click to submit order. Activation adds obligation.

I ordered it on the $15 plan, if boost mails it to me can they force me on the $60 plan or charge my credit card?
After you receive the new phone, please update whether eSIM is locked or not.

Carrier lobbyists throw a couple of hundred thousands to the FCC and you never heard of this proposal again.

Price is $40 + $15 service.
The service is probably a pricing error, expect that to change.

I purchased one for $40 as an upgrade, so if your account is eligible for an upgrade you don't need a new line.

I'm seeing $269.99 as an upgrade price, not $40.

If you are a current Boost customer eligible for a phone upgrade, then the cost to purchase the phone would be $39 + local tax. One year from now if the account used to buy the phone is still active, Boost will sim unlock the device.

If you are a current Boost customer and NOT eligible for upgrade, then your account will show the retail price of $269.99. It is possible to create a new account with a different email and then buy the Stylus as a new user for $39 + $15. After receiving the new phone and activating it on the new plan, the user could then put the old sim into the new phone. Disabling autopay on the new account would also be needed. Downside of this strategy is Boost will not unlock the phone a year from now since the phone changed accounts.

If you are buying the phone as a new user with one month of service, then there is no obligation other than activating the device. Disable autopay from within the account settings so you will not be charged with for month #2. But then, not paying for 12 months of active service will leave the phone forever sim locked to Boost.

Hoping to find a 3rd party sim unlocker so far for 2023 Boost Motorola phones have not been successful. Seems like there will be a repeat of no 3rd party being able to unlock 2024 models is likely, but that is yet to be determined.
