Been saying this since the last time the PS4 version had an all time low of 12.99, but I wish the Steam/PC versions would also drop to these prices instead of staying at 22. Great price either way.

Do you mean the Gamepass that

1- doesn't support PS4 or PS5

and

2- does not have Crysis Remastered, Crysis 2 Remastered, or Crysis 3 Remastered?
Well that was a pointless exercise because game pass had this a long time ago.

It is not on Gamepass now- you CANNOT play these games on Gamepass. (I have Gamepass and checked), and you CANNOT play Gamepass on PS4 or PS5, so what was the point of this comment?

Imagine not having Gamepass.
Imagine paying for Gamepass where you get quality games like Redfall. And a great selection of 99% very old titles and indie garbage because they know they can get people to pay for trash as long as they stick a bunch of trash games on there.

Know why all of the games launch with tons of bugs? Because it doesn't matter whether a game functions properly when it's launching into a subscription service; they will fix it when or if they decide to in the future. Know why Forza launched with minimal content? They knew they were launching into a subscription service so they'd just keep adding the content that would be there in a paid-for game at launch, well after launch.

Know why Halo Infinite launched without campaign co-op for a full year before getting it? Because Xbox no longer cares about quality since they're sticking everything on a piece of garbage service.

Meanwhile on PS5 you purchase the games but they will be breathtakingly great experiences you can get no where else at launch. You cannot make a 200-300 million AAA game and launch it into a subscription service because you will lose literally tens of millions of dollars. People love Gamepass for its 'value' but the irony is that it is that which destroys a gamer's value. It has bad games, buggy games, unfinished games, old games, indie games, and AAA big games cannot be sustained on it due to the budgets they take.

It is a service that acts as a budget-cap for AAA games. Which means that it is a service that cripples the value you get for games on Xbox.

There is no argument outside of the one in your head 🤷

Has anyone played these remastered versions on Ps5 or Ps4? I never played any of the crysis games. I feel like this is a good price, but I also feel like I might have missed the boat for when these games would have really shined.

I haven't played the remasters yet (I'm going to buy them through this deal), but I played the originals when they first released and I thoroughly enjoyed each of them. The remasters were well received and there are visual enhancements when played on PS5. I wouldn't say you missed the boat, but I can't speak to whether or not you would enjoy them since I don't know your tastes. I recommend checking out reviews and watching gameplay to get a better idea if they're for you.

Not sure whether you've actually experienced Game Pass, but it feels like you're cherry picking parts to make your argument better than it really is. They invest in day one releases for their sub, which PS does not do. Yes, day one games have had issues, but that carries to most major launches lately (I will give Sony the upper hand here though). They also heavily invest in bringing Japanese games over even when the Xbox is really only big in the US, thus giving us a game like Persona 3 Reload a day one chance to play along with giving subscribers a FREE download key for the expansion pass. I also use Ultimate and Play Anywhere titles to jump between my Xbox and ROG Ally on the go.

I'm not a fan of subscription services primarily because they are incentives to remove physical ownership from us, but at the same time, Game Pass is a phenomenal value for what you're paying. Ultimately, just decide with your wallet for what works best.

It's literally cheaper to own these 3 games forever by $10 than it is to rent them for 30 days with a game pass sub...
