Certificates expire, but points don't expire. To auto convert certificates into rewards, go into your BestBuy wallet > Rewards &Certificates > Manage > Rewards certificates and then change it to "Point banking". This way your BestBuy account will keep storing the points, and it is up to you when you want to convert them into certificates.
