This is a really good deal, I already own both, but 2 of these mice. That keyboard though, I really kinda hate that thing! I love my K800 but it's not made anymore and I'm on my last one of 3 that I purchased way back when. The keyboard in this kit is just too small, I can't type on it. And getting the backlight to wake up is a problem. Sure it wakes up if you touch a key, but what key are you touching in the middle of the night? My K800 wakes up and illuminates when I touch the top of the board itself.

It's a nice set overall feature and function wise, the price is certainly right, I'm tempted, but I just hate that keyboard too much at any price!

I hate most of logitech keyboard because it doesn't have right click key.

You're referring to the mouse?
This mouse is silent and took me a good couple of seconds to get used to not hearing a click sound. But I do much prefer the silence of this MX3 vs the MX2 that I also own. But to each their own right 😃. I'm not a fan of clicky keyboards either, but that's just me. This keyboard is also silent and that's just about all that I like about it. This set usually goes for $188 on Amazon, so for those that don't mind the idiosyncrasies of this kit, it's really a good deal, the best I've seen to date.

i used to support logitech and bought a lot of their products over a span of more than a decade.

however, towards the latter part of said period, their products started breaking almost right after the warranty period. it's like their quality and production policy have 'planned obsolescence' baked into it.

also, for those that break within the warranty period, they started to make you jump thru a ton of hoops before you can claim a replacement, as opposed to how much customer friendlier it was at the beginning.

the only remaining logitech product that i have and is still working since i got it over a decade ago, is the K800. for me, it's the epitome of what logitech quality should be.

IMO, the keyboard SUCKS, it dies every 2-3 days with constant use. You apparently have to turn off the backlight but it doesn't save the setting, so you have to keep doing it.

The mouse is great.

The mouse is nice but I feel that the keyboard is very overrated IMO. It felt super mushy, and I am not a big mechanical keyboard guy either. It just wasn't a pleasant experience to type on.

Maybe see if it is under warranty? I use it at work with the backlight off and I rarely have to charge it, maybe every 3-4 months.

Oh wow, maybe it's a YMMV issue, then, I saw a couple people with the same issue.

Yeah, it's gonna be a sad day when my last K800 finally dies. Nothing I've been able to find by any manufacturer is quite like this K800. Been using Logitech now for over 24 years, I too have seen the decline in all areas. But it's not just Logitech, rather the whole world is in a perpetual state of decline from it's logic to it's technology and all of it's byproducts. The more advanced, the more trouble.

That lagging illumination compared to the good old K800 is my biggest disappointment in the new MX Keys and MX Mechanical. Tried both of them and inability to light up the keyboard in the dark by just putting my hand next to it, is really annoying.

No, there's a right click key usually between ctrl and alt key on the right side. I had to throw away my WAVE Logitech and use the cheap ass dell keyboard because I can't live without it.

I unboxed this yesterday and the inside box seems like its for only the keyboard. No mouse or bolt receiver inside. Seems like someone swapped the outside sleeve.

I looked up an unboxing video and it does look different. I haven't gotten a reply from woot yet, but this should get sorted.

First time having such an issue with woot.
