Your SW should be 56*. Don't recall what the bounce was. This three club set is 52*, 56*, and 60*. So it would replace your SW and give your two more clubs. Personally, unless you are playing bogey game or better, I don't think it will help you much. Stick with the Callaway. Once you become more consistent, you can refine your short game by getting more wedges. For example, I hit my 46* (PW) 125', 52* (AW/GW) 105', 56* (SW) 85', 60* 60', but you will refine your own distances as you play more consistently.

Here's a question for you. Would you exchange your 60* Vokey for all three of these? 🤔

Does anyone know if these are needed if you have a PW and SW (I have the Calloway set from Costco)? Still new to the game of Golf.

I'd just stick with what you have since there's already a SW. with this you're get 60* but probably won't be as useful since you're new. Just try to work with SW (which I'm assuming is 56*) . Get better with it, then upgrade to Kirkland set once you get better with wedges

I've had these since they came out a year ago and for the value, hands down, it can't be beat.

That being said, its a one size fits all wedge set. If you're a creative or good wedge player, these might not be versatile enough for you. The bounce is on the higher side, the sole on the 52 is a bit wider than what I'd like and I personally find that these launch the ball higher than my other wedges so flighting them down is a bit more challenging (its probably just my swing shape). I also play different grinds and bounce angles on my normal wedges which help with different shot types and lies.

TLDR: If you just need a new solid wedge set and have a limited budget, this set can't be beat. With good solid technique you can make these work fairly well. If you think these will directly compete against a custom fit wedge that cost 3x as much... no. Its one grind and one bounce for all. You can probably adjust them a tiny bit to get the desired ball flight but the sole grind and bounce is hard to tinker with.

I also wanted to add, as a suggestion, is going to the local golf stores and finding used wedges in decent shape that are a few years old. I did this for a season ($30-$40 here and there) until I found some wedges that had bounce angles and sole grinds that I finally felt comfortable with. After playing with so many different types, I knew what worked and didn't work for my game. Or you can save yourself some time and get a wedge fitting (assuming you have decent technique).

Unfortunately lost my 56° - still, even with losing one of the clubs, this is a tremendous deal.
Did you forget it at the Fullerton golf course by any chance?

Had these for the last year. No complaints honestly. The 56° SW is one of my most used clubs! Same with the 52 GW.

Ah man, just bought a Wilson gap and sand for $100 on Amazon. Maybe I'll return those and pick these up.

I don't play vokey but I play RTX and I'd say the gen 1 ksigs were 85% of the performance of my RTXs. Not bad for the price.

I started with the same set. The pitching wedge in that set is 44 degrees and the sand wedge is 54.

Ideally you would want a gap wedge to sit in between those at like 50 degrees, and then a lob wedge at 58 or 60.

For new players, a 60 is pretty tough to hit and you may not get much use out of it as a result.

However, for the price of this wedge set I think it's worth dropping your current callaway sand wedge and using the 56 as your new sand wedge. The 52 as your gap and the 60 as your lob. Otherwise you'd need to buy 2 wedges at say 50 and 58 degrees and that will probably run you at least $200 unless you find a good used deal.

The only other thing I'd mention is that if you wanted to go the 50&58 degree path, I've heard very good things about Maltby and they will run you $50-$60 per club on their website.

Hope that helps

Yes the edge set only has pitching wedge and sand wedge. These have higher lofts.

I didn't, thanks for asking though! I'm pretty sure I left it at my local club but nobody turned it in. Or my 5 year old hid it from me somewhere

Someone in the last thread said they found lefty sets in Canada.
