I think $10 or $2 per mile, whichever is greater should be sufficient.
Seriously? How did you come up with that amount?

How is the return process for DD order? Can we return in store if we don't like?

Very unfortunate. No usb-c charge no buy for me.
What are some uses for USB-C? and why it's important for some users?

Remember to check Doordash's return policy. The local news just reported that a guy bought and returned a meta quest 3, and doordash got the refund$, not him, since they paid for it. The news station had to bug doordash for them to return his $.

Their policy around returns isn't good where electronics are concerned.

You actually need usb c for both charging and video out... Then you can connect just one usb c cord to a hub when you get home, which will charge your laptop, output to multiple monitors, and connect to your wireless keyboard and mouse at same time.

One cord in when you get home
One cord out when you leave

I don't see any options for adding gift cards in payment. Just credit card, PayPal…

Anyone?

Sounds about right to me. I'm curious what you would give.

While I agree with you in general, there are USB-C to DC-in adapters for these barrel port charging laptops if you want to just use your extra USB-C chargers lying around

I am not the one who asked initially...

To me, it seems high for picking up one item from a store that is very small and light, and easy to get and deliver. Like a pizza for example. So my opinion to answer your question to them is too high. I have done pizza delivery and a couple bucks was about average in my day.

But the other person asked you a direct question. How did you decide on that formula? I am curious as well.

I doubt these Dashers are paid peanuts like restaurant servers in my state at $2.01 an hour plus tips. As far as I know, they get compensated for their work fairly already.

Meanwhile, good for you, being a big tipper, they must love you.

There is also a YMMV 40% cashback, max $10 offer on some credit cards for Doordash. Its on my Chase card. Could be used after discounted Doordash gift cards. Extra $10 back if you have the offer.

edit: my Wells fargo card also has a 10% max $5 offer

Big tippers drive me nuts, setting up unrealistic expectations for services rendered, and the last few years it has gotten out of hand with every pay terminal asking for a tip. These companies either need to pay higher hourly wages or salaries while hiring less drivers. I usually tip $5 for delivery and if I'm spending $40 or less I go and pick it up myself.

The OP shows a USB-C port.
Does it not have one?

Normal usb c is just for data transfer like usba, need one with power delivery capable for charging, or thunderbolt usbc for monitor output or external gpu support
