To me, it seems high for picking up one item from a store that is very small and light, and easy to get and deliver. Like a pizza for example. So my opinion to answer your question to them is too high. I have done pizza delivery and a couple bucks was about average in my day.
But the other person asked you a direct question. How did you decide on that formula? I am curious as well.
I doubt these Dashers are paid peanuts like restaurant servers in my state at $2.01 an hour plus tips. As far as I know, they get compensated for their work fairly already.
Meanwhile, good for you, being a big tipper, they must love you.
