Great for fixing your sinuses as well. Just be careful how you use it.

Why is Providone Iodine more than a dollar? It's a cheap ingredient. It should be available as a basic first-aid.

Last time i bought these. They leaked quite a bit. Just make sure that your order only contains this item so nothing gets ruined and you will be mostly fine. The bottles will have stains on the labels from this happening, just fyi

How do you appropriately use this for sinuses?

You do not, Iodine is highly degrading to cell walls. This is meant as antiseptic not as prophylactic.

I use a Xlear sinus rinse bottle. Add one packet of the xylitol powder, one packet of salt, one to two drops of povidone iodine, and of course your boiled then cooled to a warm/comfortable temperature. Then rinse your sinuses as normal.

For any legal reasons, I'm not a doctor and this is not medical advice.
All I can say is that I had sinus problems forever, sinus pain, etc.. This actually fixed it for me.

Curious what the home use is for this. Polysporin/Neosporin are much cleaner and promote would healing when used with a dressing. I typically think of iodine for topical use in healthcare settings prior to surgery.

Also, this gives me flashbacks to using mercurochrome as a kid.

Someone on a different post said some hospitals don't use Neosporin and it's banned in Europe??

I did find this -
What do doctors recommend instead of Neosporin?

When the skin is open, it is more prone to becoming sensitized to an allergen, so even if the patient wasn't allergic to neomycin previously, an allergy can develop late in life after prolonged exposure to Neosporin
