The biggest negative with this mouse is that whenever you have to use anything else you get super frustrated bc it's nowhere near as good.

This mouse is indeed awesome, but I'm not a big fan of how tall it stands for the sake of ergonomics. I use a wired G502 daily, and keep this mouse around for travel/laptop use. Everything about the MX3 is a step up in quality, but the G502 just feels more comfortable in my hand.

I love these things. I had the MX Master for my in-office mouse and my house mouse. The both latest since about 2017, and just went. They both developed issues with the thumb button around this year and finally tossed them.

I bought a MX Master 3 for my house about a month ago and am looking for another Work mouse now. Never had any issues with these in those 7 years. Other than I noticed that batteries were going, but that's expected for any wireless mouse.
I picked it up off woot last month for about this price. I absolutely love it. Quality is top tier and buttons click but not too clicky and the wheels move flawlessly. Highly recommend.

This is a great mouse for work but be aware it has a low polling rate and this can't do double duty as a gaming mouse. The full functionality of the side scroll wheel requires Logitech software which depending on your employer may not be available on a work machine.

Been using one for couple of months now. The silent clicking is godsend.

I agree with all the comments and love this mouse. I am considering getting another one to just keep in my laptop bag instead of trying to remember to take this mouse I use on desktop mouse back and forth on trips or to coffee shops.

Added bonus (or maybe non-bonus, hahaha) is that my baby loves to play with it when he sits with me in the home office. I switch it off, and he presses all the buttons and rolls the wheels. It has survived many throws to the floor so far as well and still works flawlessly.

Anyone have comments about the quality of this mouse? I'm guessing since it's Logitech it will eventually develop double click, but I can probably solder on replacement switches like can be done for the G502, so I'm wondering otherwise how it is.
Don't have that issue with this one. I had this when it first came out two years ago. I've been using it daily in the office.

Can I recycle an old mouse ?
You can "recycle" a broken mouse wired or anything. And yeah nobody posted it because it's been going on for like a year (recycle network equipment for 15% coupon, logitech gets 20%), but it's still a good deal with the MX 3S being in demand on SD recently

Can you elaborate the functionality that requires Logitech software? This is a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the FYI

edit. I'd imagine you can make the changes/tweaks on another machine with the driver/software. Save it as a profile onboard the mouse and swing it over to the work machine.

For the second scroll wheel to do anything requires software. I've tried saving settings on another computer and it does not carry over. My guess is that since a second scroll wheel is not standard the system doesn't know what to do with it without the Logitech software. It doesn't bother me since the regular scroll wheel still works and it's overall a fantastic economic mouse.

This or the superlight?
They're completely different mice. If you're looking for this mouse for games, I would look elsewhere because the polling, speed, etc are not great for games.

The master is a fantastic work mouse. I gave mine away to my friend cause he needed a work mouse and I have a ton of gaming mice and just haven't bought another one (e.g. finalmouse ULX, deathadder v3 pro, super light x, sora v2, etc.) though. There are things on it that I absolutely miss (e.g. infinity scroll) when using my current plethora of mices for work and think about buying one all the time again just for work.

I like the ergonomics of the Master 2S, but the static weight of my fingers cause me to accidentally click the mouse buttons frequently which is annoying (mostly the right, but sometimes left click). Does the silent feature allow for a higher click actuation force to prevent this?
