If you are referring to the portable nutri bullet deal thats a very different product/purpose, can't compare the two.

Bout $6 more expensive than last front page, but still a decent deal. Rtings shows fairly good reviews if being used for smoothies but mediocre for most anything else.

Decent deal if you need a dedicated smoothie maker, just wish I came with 1-2 more cups

I really love this for smoothies, you return on investment is 6 smoothies, so this is great deal.

Worth noting here that the Achilles Heal of all Ninja smoothie blenders are 4 cheap plastic tabs around the rim of the blender cup. These cheap plastic tabs activate the blender motor when you twist the cup onto the motor base. The problem is that these tabs bear 100% of the brunt of the motor's torque when met with resistance of the cup's contents, which actively wears down the tabs with each use…sometimes even breaking the tabs off altogether. Once one of the cheap plastic tabs breaks off, the motor cannot be activated to blend. This is important to know for anyone wanting to blend anything frozen. Also good to know that the instructions also say at least 8oz of liquid is required in each smoothie, which sucks if you're looking to make something with more of a sorbet consistency.

You can just replace it when it breaks, not that expensive.

Moral of the story is. Don't man handle the cups so the tabs don't break off? I've had this model for a year now and they have held up and my family uses this 3-4 times a day.

No actually the worst part about this is the silicone seal inside the blade can get really nasty inside if your not careful. I had to buy a pack of extra silicone seals and I've replaced it a couple times.

Now I make sure to thoroughly drain the blade, and even run it through the dishwasher through the week and it's stayed clean ever since.

And probably my least favorite thing is how noisy this is.

Sometimes I take a kitchen towel and wrap around the base of the cup and blade while it's running and it surprisingly quieter.
