Used it for camping last week on top of the camp fire grill. It's cleaner than cooking on the grill there. Good for steaks so you can char. Good for veggies you don't want to skewer. The handle is removable so it's easy to pack and doesn't get hot when cooking on camp fire. Traditional non stick isn't safe on top of camp fire because of the high heat.

Not too useful at home on the grill unless you want it for veggies.

Same price in stores (at least my local Costco) if you want it faster.

Anyone used it? I want to roast things like broccoli without using the oven, but I guess this would one work with solid veggies like onions or asparagus?

If you have an air fryer they're very effective at roasting

No one with a grill would equalize an air fryer to a grill

When do you use this pan? For sauteing chopped veggies on the grill?

Of course not. I don't think they were suggesting grilling in an air fryer, though. Rather, in their opinion, perhaps a better method of roasting broccoli than using a grill.

Our air fryer is great for this, but I'm still gonna get this pan. Thanks!

I have this bought for $19.99 at store and use for roasting asparragus, potatoes, thin meat cuts, beef short ribs when I do not want to put direct in contact to the grill. Nice price

Yup - really for anything that might otherwise fall in between the grill grates or is in so many pieces it's easier to toss around in a pan than flipping each and every piece with tongs.

I have a flattop with a hood and am having trouble seeing how I could use this. Any tips?

That's not what it's for. It's just another accessory for using on grills with open grates where some foods would fall though otherwise. Example…you can "grill" shrimp with this without resorting to skewers to hold the shrimp

Lol. And no one did that. They responded to someone asking about "roasting".

"Roasting is a cooking method that uses dry heat where hot air covers the food, cooking it evenly on all sides with temperatures of at least 150 °C (300 °F)"

Are we really gate keeping grill/air fryers now?
