Honestly at this price I expect these headphones to be updated to USB-C by now. Apple is either really lagging behind or they don't care about the Max anymore.

Too many complaints. One person said when his AppleCare expired, Apple doesn't give the option to keep AppleCare on a monthly basis. That's a big red flag. They know they will fail.

Agree on price. Should be a bit lower at this point of its lifecycle. Replacement model is coming in September w/ USB-C. All Apple products will be USB-C be end of year.

That's just nonsense. I don't know of any manufacturer that offers an extended warranty plan at purchase that has a monthly option when the original plan expires. But every product from every manufacturer with an integrated battery is going to fail. The real problem is none have user replaceable batteries so they become ewaste long before they are functionally obsolete. But it's not reserved to Apple. It's industry norm.

Can I price match these at Best Buy or is that not allowed with Prime sales

Never mind they have an extra 5% back for anyone with an Amazon card so that's another $45 off if you already have the card which gives 5% back
