Unit price for the 2x 4.0ah starter pack comes to $92.73. the extra 6.0ah battery is $76.27 if you want to spend "more" and return one of the combo tools.
Edit: this deal will stack with the monthly 10% coupon for HD cardholders. Grabbed the circular saw + battery set @ $76.05/each after all discounts.

I think I bought 2x6a's with a charger for like 130-150 a year or two back.
I mean let's face it though, these batteries are obscenely overpriced. I guess they're trying to front load the cost of replacing batteries down the line per their LSA and the fact that batteries are probably the most likely thing that will eventually lose their charge capacity or whatever over use lifetime.
It is what it is. They include one or two of these things with almost every package deal these days so over time it's pretty easy to build a nice bank of them.
I think I have 3x6Ah, 5x4Ah and 1x2Ah and personally I never run into a situation where I'm out of juice. Maybe contractors or carpenters might cycle through faster but most of my use would be like 10% of a battery then my chore or whatever is done and I just throw it back on the charger to top up.

The cheating part is on them when I end up buying a good deal that I don't even need and never would have bought otherwise. Who's cheating who then? Lol
