Love the ace gc deals - their prices are about 20% higher than the big box guys, so a 20% discount levels the playing field so to speak. Plus it's closer to my house and the employees are easy to find and know what they're talking about. If you're part of their rewards program they send you monthly coupons for things like $20 off $100 or $5 off $30. You can get great value at Ace if you know how to play the game.

Ace is way overpriced, but their employees are very knowledgeable. Haven't been in a while, are they still masking?
Yes - they are very expensive and overpriced. You can basically save money by shopping at Lowes or Home Depot for the same product sold at Ace. I have tried many times to use the "$7 off $20" coupons or "$20 off $100" coupon and tried to barter a deal, but eventually it ends up becoming more expensive than some of such comparable products and brands (like Cutter, Craftsman, Scotts, and other Home Improvement and Gardening Items".

They have a very few exclusions while using their coupons and them becoming lower costs. I buy items like Paint Brushes and Paint Roller covers when they are on sale or use suchcoupons to buy bulk of them when they become cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot.

What the hell does "masking" have to do with anything? No there's no mask mandate and hasn't been for a very long time. If an employee wants to wear a mask, it's their business.

When I clicked on the DEALs link above the ACE GC there was then a Subway $25 for $20 there.. maybe I missed when that was noted - but picked it up anyway.. I usually only go to Jersey Mikes when they have buy one get one free in my area..

Would only do the same for subway - only go when it's buy one get one free -

"I'm sorry. It looks like you have reached your request limit. Please try again tomorrow."

I got this error. Weird, since it was first time I checked, only after reading your post.

Most Ace locations around here can't figure out how to apply these as payment in person and a few times they've been extremely rude about it. Using them online is fine, but then many times the item will be out of stock, and then you've forfeited your precious single use coupon.
