All mini splits are "precharged". The condenser has enough refrigerant for the length of lines included. The lines however, are not "precharged" or sealed like the ones Mr Cool offers. You will need to vacuum the lines at the very least.

So much misinformation.

R-410 began to be phased out in 2023 for new equipment, and will not be allowed for new equipment starting in 2025. No word on when it will no longer be available for currently installed equipment, and I'm not going to speculate.

R-32 & R-454B are the replacements for R-410.

Hmmm...no cold weather temp rating. I would gladly pay an additional $100 for a good low temp rating.

just keep in mind for the diyers ...charged for the default 13 foot line set No problem if you're just going straight thru wall thou.

Is it energy star certified? I looked thru all the specs and info on the page and no mention of it. I ask because it's needed to get the fed tax credit

Do you mind explaining how so? I've installed 2 Costway units with no issue except for line set being too short and no wifi.

I have one of these installed myself. The pipes it provided is copper aluminum alloy. It's very soft and easy to maneuver. The unit ran very cool.

I won't buy one that doesn't specify the installation line length or if they do, make it hard to find. Someone said 13ft which is very short! All I saw on the link page was " 2 x copper connection pipes".
