This new plan includes 5 GB Hotspot, where the old plan the hot spot was extra.
It's prepay for a whole year, so you don't have to worry about remembering to pay every month and that's where you get the discount, because they get their money up front. They send you 2 SIM cards, so choose the one you like. The black card is Verizon and the White card is T-mobil. If you find out that you get better service on T-mobil or vice versa, then you can login to your account and click the chat box at bottom to switch to the other carrier for free. At first they charged me $2, but refunded the money couple days later. Shipping for the SIM cards is free.

Here's summary of Unlimited Plans:
$17.50/mo x 12 mos = $210 for the year = 10 GB premium data & 5 GB hot spot
$22.50/mo x 12 mos = $270 for the year = 35 GB premium data & 10 GB hot spot
$32.50/mo x 12 mos = $390 for the year = 100 GB premium data & 50 GB hot spot

I ported my digits from Charter Spectrum mobil. I got the account number from my billing page and then I selected the tab to port my digits and they gave me a security pin. Then I logged in the US mobil site and ported my digits. It took total 5 minutes to port my digits after inserting the new SIM and re-power the cell phone. There is a helpful chat box at the bottom where the IT tech can help if you have any questions. No degradation in service, since Charter Spectrum and US mobil both use Verizon towers.

Not going to add to what others have said about Data Waster, it is what it is.

I almost pulled the trigger with them until I learned about Panda Mobile, a T-Mobile MNVO that's in early access. $15/mo for 30gb of data before they throttle, lifetime pricing. Haven't had any issues so far with them, website's still barebones as they really need to add the data counter.

Good deal and the best customer service you could ask for... Though, I'm upset they raised the price from $15 to $17.50. also not sure why this is on Slickdeals... This is not a sale, it's their everyday price, which actually just INCREASED..

I have had them for a year now with zero issues. Amazing how much money I have saved with 4 lines.

Have had USM for 3 years. Switched from Spectrum mobile-was on Verizon before that. Customer service is top notch and will always take care of you. You can always add things you need to like hot spot and remove it when you don't need it. I found USM on YouTube by accident and they are very responsive on Reddit. My only complaint is the video quality is currently 480 like others have mentioned-hopefully they switch it back.

I heard you can only switch between Verizon/"Warp 5G" (black SIM) and T-Mobile (white SIM) once for free, then they charge you each time.

I have had US Mobile on a shared plan for a couple years now, it seems MMS (group text messages) randomly breaks for days at a time. Has happened multiple times and their CS has not been very helpful with resolving that

The new policy for "teleportal" (switching between their base carriers) is twice free, then pay $2 after that on plans that don't include "free teleport"

First off, not a deal, this is pretty normal price. Secondly, USM is one of the best MVNO hands down. I've had 5 lines with them for a couple years and it's been 0 issues. That said, we are all on the legacy plan (like, pre covid, times were glorious and prices were low legacy) which is unlimited all for this exact price, per month, with 75GB premium data so while this is a good deal compared to EVERYTHING else we won't be dropping our legacy plans until they force us. That out of the way, something no one talks about is the QCI, which is basically the priority you have on the network. When they say "priority" data that means highest priority on Verizon's network. No other MVNO that I'm aware of can say that and this will be noticeable in a crowd. It means your data gets priority over everyone else, USM uses Verizon postpaid priority for all data *if you have a 5G phone* which puts them over every other Verizon MVNO. Is this the best prices ever? No, but current economy is in the trash and I doubt we will ever see better prices than this, especially for Verizon network, Verizon who is known to nickel and dime customers and be the most expensive network out there.

TLDR; USM good, postpaid bad, you won't find a better price for a *good* Verizon MVNO.

I'd caution everyone against this, looks sketchy as heck and this is a terrible price for tmobile MVNO. Guys your numbers will almost certainly get lost as well as your CC info, just don't.

The new plan includes hotspot. For those who don't need hotspot, it's definitely price increase.

Decent service, recent changes are upsetting. Hopefully net neutrality fixes this video speed throttling shit.

Be careful. US Mobile is OK with just changing things on you mid-plan. This happened recently when they throttled all video to 480p with no notice and zero updates to their website. Everyone got throttled. It was only after much outcry where they allowed 720p streaming and they state there will probably be an upcharge for it in the future. So you have your plan you paid for, with no throttle, get throttled, and then you'll have to pay more to get the features you had prior...

It was only within the last 48 hours they updated their broadband facts. I have no idea how they can legally just change the stuff on people mid cycle.

How consistent are the prices? I just want to keep the same service and price year after year and not worry about looking for a new plan every year.

I'm only on year two, but these prices are the same as what I paid last year.

Not really a "deal". Just advertising.
