No issue with what you did. Buying at separate stores (is one of many other ways) to negate the need to walk over to returns by just canceling online.

I tried the different pick up location hack but after I canceled the order at the erroneous location they sent me an email 15 minutes later that they would not be completing the transaction and cancelled both orders

I picked up the trimmer kit for $250 without the blower. this is a good deal for $261. String trimmer was a big step up in power from my old cheap black and decker.
