..but how do they handle the hot TX heat? Never enjoyed the feeling of soaking wet (cotton) underwear after a sweaty day, and slick 'wicking' or poly underwear has it's own problems.

These were what I wore as a firefighter in VA. They were the most comfortable of all the different types of fabric I tried. Much better than cotton in my opinion. But sweaty balls are uncomfortable, regardless. Thick layer of Gold bond on the boys helped more than anything.
