I bought this last summer on clearance ($499.97) at Costco and LOVE IT! Way better than the pellet grill I had before that and 10X better than the gas grill I had before that. Some people have had some issues with these units, but a lot of people (like me) haven't had any at all. I've heard they are coming out with a "v2" version of these that addresses most of the things people complained about with v1. This includes better board connections & lid switches, reinforced firebox, etc). I use mine all the time to grill and smoke. The pizza oven attachment makes awesome pizza.

I have the 1050 version and it's the best $200 bucks I ever spent on a grill (Home Depot deal from December 2021). Steaks taste great, chicken tastes great, all around better than pellet grill or gas grill.

Would jump on this if I didn't need one.

What are the differences between this 900 version and the 1050 version you bought for $200?

1050 just has slightly larger cooking surface. Other than that, it's exactly the same as 800/900 series. No pizza oven for mine though.

I can confirm this price in Albuquerque, NM. Saw it today.

Got mine for $399 a year ago and will never look back. This thing is amazing and I've pumped out some awesome BBQ. Used the pizza oven once so far, worked great!

FYI the model number is the square inches of the grill.

1050 is 1050 square inches etc.

However the 900 is an 800 with the pizza oven attachment instead of the griddle that comes with the 800. Only seen the 900 at Costco.

If you are in the market for a set it and forget it smoker that brings the flavor of a offset smoker, this is it!

I'd love a recipe if you have one you love. That's my next try but I'm nervous since so many pizza recipes we've tried haven't tasted Great lll
