Dual hose doesn't do this. Best analogy I've seen on these forums is trying to fill a tub with the drain plug open. With enough water pressure you can fill the tub but it's highly less efficient than filling a tub with the drain plugged.

totally over thinking the situation. I have a couple of single hose. While they might not be the most efficient, for the price they do a decent job.

Not disputing that, was simply answering the question. They have their use cases and initial capital investment is generally less. E.g. if you are adding supplemental cooling to a home with HVAC. Long term they will consume more power and are less efficient. To each their own.
