Consistently, glass always wins out.
For those curious, I've also tested ceramic and saw no noticeable difference from plastic.

The pitchers are oval. But BOTH of the ones I ordered when the lids were fully tightened, did not line up with the length of the oval and both ended up in different spots curving along the longer ends of its shape; if that makes sense? Like the handle was coming out sideways rather than lining up, and it felt/looked weird to pour from! So if it has a small area to fit in (Slim fridge shelf) it may not fit if the handle is protruding sideways! (Also for faux OCD reasons) 🥹

The only thing I don't like about them (and it's a big one) is that they are tall and skinny which required me to lower the top shelf in my refrigerator one notch. That is a lot of space lost below for two skinny containers above. If they were the height of a normal pitcher I would like them much better.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0131EKHO0 I've had this one for over a decade and use it daily for iced tea.
