Been looking at Keychron for the past month or so and bought the Q3 after living under Corsair, Razer, and Logitech for so long. This kind of sprout out because I bought the Huntsman V3 Analog and it's such an objective step down in build quality from the Huntsman V2 Analog. I didn't bother with the Blackwidow series (other than the odd 75% form factor) as they aren't hot swappable so you're screwed whenever it starts doubletyping. I'm not a keyboard person, I don't care about the type of key switches, lubing, sound dampening mods, and all the other things I saw keyboard people like to do with their keyboards when researching. I just like repairability, build quality, and most importantly, not needing to install trash software. The base Q series I believe natively have qmk/via support so you can change the functionality of your keyboard through your browser (K base models I believe don't but the pro/max do). I also believe this keyboard fits the "it just works" when compared to the software issues I've had with the big brand manufacturers. You do lose out on the excessive money razer and the like have put into rgb and game integration but I don't care about that. I know Logitech and Razer also have other stuff in their utility app but the only one I would use is the macro functionality. You can get that functionality with a lighter weight FOSS program probably, or what I use which is more involved, is AHK.
I'd recommend anyone to at least look into the Keychron Q series if what I typed piqued your interest. The Q3 is TKL, Q6 is Full-Size, Keychron Q is wired only, Keychron Q Pro has bluetooth, Q Max has bluetooth + dongle.
edit: I'd also like to say I've been stalking wootsearch for Keychron deals but NavyWife still got a post out ahead of me. My favorite SD poster by a huge margin.
edit2: to make my long post even longer, here are the full-sized keyboard only weight measurements I got when comparing the huntsman v2 analog vs huntsman v3 which made me go down this rabbit hole of mechanical keyboards.
- Huntsman V2 Analog = 1230g
- Huntsman V3 Pro = 850g
And here's the comparably sized full-sized fully assembled Keychron Q6 from Keychron's spec sheet
- Keychron Q6 = 2420g
Weight isn't everything of course but the whole Huntsman V3 Pro packages felt absolutely cheap when I received it and a massive step down in almost every way from the V2 Analog, even more so after I took apart the front plate to fix the volume knob (of course I had to, it's Razer). I'd like to own an item that feels sturdy and is easily repairable as opposed to one that feels cheap and is more difficult to repair (huntsman analog switches are hot swappable I believe but only with Razer switches, but you can't replace the sensor I think and it's still soldered?)

I've been playing Fallout 76 lately, and what's surprising to me is that I did not expect that the gameplay is better with the Keychron. I don't mean that I'm shooting better or anything like that -- there are several things that just work better, things that I previously attributed to the game software/engine but were apparently hardware issues with the KB.
My only dismay is that while the K10 is BT and wired, the wired cable they included is 3' long, which is ridiculous. Fine for charging, I suppose, but not to actually use wired. For comparison, the cheapie keyboard I replaced has a 10' cord.
Anyway, all that to say that Keychron makes some impressive products, at least the K10. Definitely the most I've ever spent on a keyboard, but after using it, I understand why it's that much.
So this was a huge step up. Obviously not a model that would be on steep discount like these other models but still, going mech was the best decision, as far as getting a new keyboard was concerned.
