After quickly googling it doesn't seem like the ram on this unit is upgradable but the ssd is.

YMMV on whether being stuck with 8gb works for you but it seems like a decent price for a touchscreen+OLED laptop with a decent refresh rate.

At 16GB soldered or one empty slot this would be a no brainier. As is....

Apple bought the worse out of Windows machince vendors. These idtios think they can get away with only 8 gig of RAM. Putting a 90hz OLED screen, and offering no upgradable memory? WTF is wrong with these companies?

It's not like they don't have a 16gb version. It just so happens that at this price, it is the 8gb refurb. The lowest the 16gb version has been was 630 last November.

YMMV, but I also have a 10% off coupon on my account. Looks like $350 before tax.

I also had a 5% back for eBay on my Chase credit card, and 3% cash back from a certain site. total cost is $330. not sure why the down votes.
