Yes and no. Inside this thing is a 2242 sizd NVMe SSD, specifically the SK Hynix BC711, which is one of very few SSDs of this form factor that has a DRAM cache. It's very useful for people with laptops that have this less common form factor slot for their boot drive *cough*Lenovo*cough*

Year ago I bought a tv.. 2 days after tv arrived it went on sale by $150 bucks.
Amazon wouldn't refund the difference... So I returned it and bought same tv for cheaper.

I did buy this a week ago and requested a price match. Amazon was able to refund the difference. It wasn't too much, even last week there was a $15 coupon bringing the price down to 79.99

I don't know...I mean they weren't price matching other stores... it was just a refund of the price difference between the order that I placed at amazon..if they hadn't..I would've returned the drive and bought it again at today's price...which is a loss for them.

I've never bought an SK Hynix external drive, but I have purchased a few of their internal NVMEs and they have all bee solid! Not that I need yet another external SSD, but I like the small design of this one so in for 1.
