This power station is amazing. I bought it at $699 and felt it was a great deal at that price. I bought this to take with me on drone shoots; it charges my mavic 3 super fast and I can run my laptop all day on this. I'm tempted to buy a 2nd Power 1000 just to keep fully charged for emergencies. We get a lot of hurricanes here in NC.

Side note: It's kind of frustrating how good DJI is at making almost any product (Check out their e-bikes that are coming out). Our government is hell-bent on banning every product from DJI, not just drones. It wouldn't be so bad if there were any non-Chinese companies that could compete. They are untouchable when it comes to drones.

So what makes this so much better than the comparable EcoFlow or Bluetti chargers? I love DJI products but this seems over priced compared to the competition

What advantage does this have over the other brands that have been around?

https://www.amazon.com/EF-ECOFLOW...64303?th=1

From the DJI's amazon page, it looks like the DJI requires proprietary adapters for common connectors (Like the 12V car adapter).
The eco flow has also been steadily dropping every month and was down to $570 a couple weeks ago. That probably explains the drastic DJI price drop when it's only been available for 3 months now.

The EcoFlow Delta 2 was down to $429 just a few days ago.

I would look for something around that price range for a true slick deal.

Thanks for pointing that out.

To charge with solar , it looks like you have to buy the $59 DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT). https://www.theverge.com/24134689...pecs-price MPPT solar charge controllers are usually included in almost every competitior of thise DJI Power 1000.

Pricewise it isn't that competitive. Essentially it is $599 + $59 = $658 to make is similar to Ecoflow Delta 2.

Me, too at the medium price so $100 less....not too upset; it's a great piece of equipment. I have 2 adapters for the Mavic 3 which I plan to use to keep the drone in the air when I go out with it. Just got the 500 which I keep in the car semi-permanently, I'm a fan of DJI and plan to use my Ecoflow products alot less (fell out with Ecoflow since they took away all my points, d move).

this power station is not competitive with other power stations... look elsewhere. can't do solar by itself and i remember that the solar specs were not good for a 1000 capacity unit. there's almost no reason in going with this at this price point.

This thing is a terrible power station in every way.
They seem to make everything proprietary and they only include a power cable. That's it.
I mean you have to buy a separate module to connect solar. WTF ?? You pretty much have to buy separate wires to connect to anything.
It's not competitive.
Take the Pecron E1500 for example.
$679-5% = $645 no tax.
1536wh vs 1024wh.
Wifi/BT app support.
expandable batteries.
Solar/car/battery charging wires included.
Wireless charging.
Solar inputs is up to 95v so you can wire your panels however you like.

It's a bad product at an inflated price compare to what's out in the market.
