The trade-in amounts for Samsung Book's previous versions are horrible. It's almost like Samsung wants to remind you that their stuff does not hold any value compared to Apple.

Right... As if Apple gives you a fair trade in value for their products? Essentially all companies do that but people like to call out Samsung specifically as if they only do it. Get a grip

Heads up for anyone buying the base model: These do NOT have the latest Meteor Lake CPUs from Intel! The branding is misleading. Intel rebranded all last generation raptor lake CPUs to Core 7 as well and rebranded Meteor Lake to Ultra 7. This laptop has a last generation Raptor Lake processor.

Considering the AI generations are advancing, I'm not sure if the Intel Ultra processor can handle AI applications. Perhaps waiting for Arrowlake intel Ultra 200 series is a better choice.

Appears this works ($327 off) on the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra tablet too...

The Regular Tab S9 tablet it only takes $100 off but not bad?

You're right. I didn't catch this nor knew Intel core 7 is almost same as 136Op. I knew Intel changed naming convention and heavily criticized, but seeing the spec comparison of Intel Core 7 vs 13700h, 1360p, 14900hx, core ultra, Intel should be sued! Up until now, i thought it was poor marketing and intentional obfuscation... But knowing the existence of Intel Core 7 having NOTHING to do with Core ultra 7, makes me think it should be criminal.

Any of the AI couldn't answer the question, nor could any 'vs' website. The only way to understand is using Intel official documentation, and even there, it requires patience - Intels own tech spec have a difficult time parsing marketing department into technical definitions!

If it's within the 14-day Best Buy return policy (even if it's opened), then yes. I would recommend doing the purchase FIRST before you initiate a return, in case you don't get the price you want.

Recommended order:
1) Order the new Samsung Galaxy Book 4 model you want and select the iPad Mini 2 trade in
2) Purchase the working iPad Mini 2 from your friend
3) Initiate your Best Buy return (take it to the store or shipping options if you're not near one) within the return policy window
