I would not recommend buying speakers without listening to them. Been a Polk fan for years, had a rm7500 system and even their flagship sr speakers in my car.

I bought the LSim speakers in 2017 and they just didn't feel special anymore. The sounds was decent, but the wood was stupidly soft and felt like cheap particle board under the paint. Seemed like they used tons of cheap wood to build strength, but used a lot which made the speakers really heavy. Pre-Covid you could always get Polk speakers 30-50% off, so don't be too purchase happy without doing the right research for your setup. Post covid, I have not seen many polk deals.

I own marantz which is also in the sound United / massimo family so the company does know how to make good stuff.
