I've never used this, but from what I've read on Reddit it's often better at streaming from a NAS than Plex is.

I was rather annoyed at having to pay for Infuse since I have a Plex lifetime pass, but for some reason the Plex Apple TV app is terrible and needs a lot of transcoding. As much as I dislike the look of Infuse, it has never given me a moment of trouble.
