The 128GB is actually a decent amount of space. The Quest OS takes up some of that space, but I have 57 games installed on my 128GB Model. The bigger games (ie: Asgards Wrath) take up a lot of space, but most of them take up 0.5 - 3 GB of space.
I also have side-loaded content/DLC/extras and still have some empty space on mine.
Future games will be bigger, but this is more to say that 128GB won't only hold 1-2 games at a time. With that said, whatever you buy: You're stuck with. You can't upgrade to 512GB later on.
The Quest 3 is actually a pretty decent upgrade over the Quest 2. Besides the faster CPU and better performance, higher res textures, etc.. the lenses are a big improvement (Pancake Lenses) which will give a much larger "sweet spot" viewing angle. The color-passthrough is also really cool and a lot of games are starting to take advantage of it. The Quest 2 is still very capable, but newer games are starting to ONLY support the Quest 3, which is where we'll see games really start to shine as they're not pushing a backwards-compatible version (which hurt a lot of PSVR games, as every game had to run on stock PS4 hardware, it couldn't be PS4 Pro only)
Download Quest Games Optimizer. It's like 10 bucks and makes a huge difference. It's not on the app store, it's a 3rd party program that you load onto the quest and can adjust framerates, CPU speed, resolution, textures, etc... it makes a BIG difference, especially on older titles that never got optimized for Quest 2 or Quest 3.. but even new titles.
Use referral discounts! Use one when you activate the headset ($30 credit for you AND the other person). Also use a referral code for any game/app you buy, it'll save you 25% on it. I use Meta-Dog, aka Cat to find them.
Refund games! Similar to steam, you can buy a game and as long as it has less than 2 weeks of purchase time or 2 hours of playtime, you can refund it. This is a big improvement over Playstation's system where you're stuck with it. It's hard to get a feel for how VR games will look or play just from watching youtube videos. Some games look AWFUL on youtube but are a lot of fun to actually play in VR! Some look neat but end up sucking. Get your refund if it sucks, take chances with buying games if you're on the fence.
Asgards Wrath was a freebie, but I believe it is NO LONGER included (as of july 1). YMMV, but keep it in mind if it was a reason you were wanting to buy this
Accessories/Extras: There are lots of different accessories and extras available.. the META ones are all very pricey, but they're nice "quality of life" improvements. The Elite Battery Strap is nice, it helps balance out the weight of the headset and adds a lot more battery life, but there are cheaper ones. The META Handstraps are great, same for the silicone faceplate (you will sweat!) and the charging dock.. the Meta Quest branded stuff is all very good, but super overprices (I bought it all! It doubled the price of my quest), there are lots of good alternatives out there and they will make your experience better than the default.
PCVR - There are different apps, SteamVR App, Quest Wireless app, Virtual Desktop, everyone has different experiences with each. I use VirtualDesktop and can play games like ALYX without lag, fully wireless. Newer routers will give much better performance, stay close to it, wire your desktop (ethernet) to router if possible, but I'm wireless from PC -> Router and Router -> Quest 3 and have no issues (same room)
Room/Space - Lots of people say you need 6x6 or 8x8 space to really use it.. this is ideal, but you can get away with much smaller spaces (depending on the game). If you have a 3x3 space, even if it's just moving your desk chair out of the way, you can make it work. Just face away from anything you might punch. You don't need to face your TV to play VR and you'll likely end up punching it if you do 😂

I know they are not exactly the same product category. But I tried Viture AR glasses in the past and it didn't work for me. Quest 2 with passthrough was a better big screen movie experience.
