Uh rotating solves a huge problem. It makes putting a kid in and out so much easier. My family has 3 of these seats. Parents all the time comment on how amazing of the idea it is. You can also switch between forward / rear facing within seconds if you move kids around

the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched an investigation into the Evenflo Revolve 360 car seats amidst concerns that they may not meet certain Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 213 requirements. At the core of the investigation report lies the fact that this convertible car seat has a detachable base. Which is a potential safety issue identified by NHTSA.

Slim is more slim

Solving the wrong problem.

Automatic seat belt tightener for installation and a harness that doesn't get stuck under the child (especially the one between the legs) when they get in would justify a $1k Apple-like price tag.

To add to what the person said earlier - the slim is more slim for compact cars or triple stacking three seats in one row AND you can't use it as long as the original/extend. Those are "all-in-one" since they convert to a booster seat

I have the regular size, it's great and super nice with the rotating option. We opted against the slim as it takes away sitting space for the kiddo.

Many reviews state the slim avoids the issue of hitting the cupholder area on bulky car doors that intrude on the passenger space. Also have seen reviews and tests that these swivel systems aren't the best or safest, which is why we ended up avoiding all together.

I'm thinking to get the slim or original or the Graco that Costco sells. I was intrigued by the rotating aspect of it

Full size if you have the room. We have a slim kid and the cup holders take up some of the seat pan room in the slim version. The full size version just seems like it'll last longer growth wise. We haven't had the cup holder hitting the car door issue in any of the cars, trucks, or suvs we've used it in.

The original is a different "pitch", and not great backwards facing for taller babies. My wife has the original, and I like the Slim much more. It is less heavy, better angled and our child seems more comfortable.

This car seat is definitely a game changer. As a parent who no longer have kids who needs new car seats, this would have saved my wrists. I empathize with parents who's raising kids in this inflationary environment though.

That is the reason I haven't bought one, I like that it can go 360, so it helps putting a toddler in the seat faster and save back problems. After some reading I've seen the Graco ones they had a lot of issues on safety with theirs same design but idk about this one.
