Uh rotating solves a huge problem. It makes putting a kid in and out so much easier. My family has 3 of these seats. Parents all the time comment on how amazing of the idea it is. You can also switch between forward / rear facing within seconds if you move kids around

the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched an investigation into the Evenflo Revolve 360 car seats amidst concerns that they may not meet certain Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 213 requirements. At the core of the investigation report lies the fact that this convertible car seat has a detachable base. Which is a potential safety issue identified by NHTSA.

Actually just ordered 2 of these from Walmart when they were on sale for $271 a week or so ago, they are still in the boxes in the garage as haven't had a chance to install them.

Will Walmart price match their own price?

EDIT:

"Please note that we do not price match the following:

Items purchased from Walmart.com that later decrease in price
Prices available through Marketplace or offered by third-party sellers

Could just rebuy and return the first set?

I had to do this a few times on a different carseat where the QC control was a bit iffy

That is the reason I haven't bought one, I like that it can go 360, so it helps putting a toddler in the seat faster and save back problems. After some reading I've seen the Graco ones they had a lot of issues on safety with theirs same design but idk about this one.
From what I read this one got pretty much the worst safety scores for the rotating seats. There was a lot of reports of the seat detaching from the base during accidents and no responses from the company. We were waiting for this to go on sale as we need a new car seat ASAP and even though the rotating part will help a lot and save my back.. I think I am going to go with the extend2fit 3 in 1 instead and skip the rotating seats.

Any that tried both? The slim and full size, their opinions and which to buy
We have both. The "extend" in my wife's car and a slim in my car. We only have one kid (~2yrs old). They are extremely similar. I don't notice the slim being any "slimmer" but that's because we don't have multiple car seats side by side.

We love them both. Especially the ability to quickly recline him for nap time while on trips. Huge points there since he likes to be more upright when he's awake and playing, but will sleep better and longer when reclined.

The biggest thing we've learned is that I will make sure to test the seat fastening system on any additional car seats better. The extend version has better seat clips and the tightening adjustment is more user friendly. So that's the one we use when swapping one into a grandparent or friends car. I can change that one over to another car in a few short minutes. The slim version uses more "old style" clips and tensioners. They aren't the end of the world. But it takes significant more hand strength to loosen and remove that one from the car. Not sure if that's specific to the slim or if our slim is just a little older than the extend (we got both as hand me downs from friends).

Good car seat, we have the extend version in each car which has the added advantage of allowing rear facing positioning for kids up to 50lbs. This is the highest weight capacity for the safest orientation you'll find.

Graco and evenflo both have bad crash ratings on the 360 versions, there's also reviews that the base it's too loose and you can wobble it side to side. Babies safety are more important than saving a little back problem. I ended up buying the extended2fit

These are convenient and all but I would never compromise on the safety. Get the Graco Extend2Fit, great safety rating and longest rear-facing seat out there. Yeah it's nice to get the kids out easier, but safety comes first.

Current and future parents please be aware that their is an ongoing investigation into Evenflo 360 carseat. I used to have this carseat and then noticed that after a year the latch went from showing green (fully engaged) to red. I contacted Evenflo and they send me a replacement part. But eventually I just got a new carseat after hearing about the investigation. My wife has the normal revolve 360 and she loves it. As it feels and looks more premium compared to the slim.
