How long does it take to get the Subscribe to emails for unique 10% off code. Is this instantaneous or will it take a few hours?
My credit for $105 ($539.99 plus tax exceeded the required $550) showed up shortly after the charge posted. I don't know exactly when, but it was at moat a few hours, and on the same day. Cheers.
I'm thinking about getting this. I haven't actually ever bought a replacement WiFi card for a laptop. Is there something I should be considering when buying one? Or does someone have a recommendation for one?
I got this but without the Amex. Rakten is having a 10% cash back on laptops so I did use that along with the 10% email sign up coupon which came <30 mins. It ended up being $550 after tax which is still better than the other laptops I've been looking at recently especially for the specs. Unsure if $550 could have gotten me anything better though, I need a DisplayPort or 2.0 hdmi for my 4k monitor.
Just checked my email, and I got the $105 from Amex.
So along with the coupon and also Ra******, It came out to $435 total after tax.
And apparently it shipped.
The screen is better on the Plus, but I think the CPU is better and more efficient (10nm vs 4nm), the memory is faster and upgradable, and the integrated graphics are much better on the Ryzen 7 8840U for $50 less:

Choice depends on your needs; I think both are good deals, particularly with the Amex offer. Cheers
Yeah, I got the non-Plus for general use, so better CPU/graphics are not super important. Screen is. But the non-Plus should have an ok screen I guess.

The non-Plus screen is adequate for indoor use at my girlfriend's business and by her admin assistant, and she says she likes the screen a lot, coming from a three-year-old Dell Inspiron. The better Radeon graphics might help with her video rendering, but yeah, a nicer screen would have been, well, nice. Just not a requirement for why I bought it. Cheers
its not about brightness. Its about colors. they look terrible in these low quality screens. You can do better at even this price point.
The brightness and colors are adequate for the office use I purchased it for, particularly at the $430 final price after cashback and Amex credit. Cheers

The offer I received is $105 off $550.
Turns out it was 105 off 550 not 599. I didn't even need to get the HDMI cable, but oh well.
