It's in 4K but might show on HD on phone. I bought it at $20 in 2022. This is a the lowest I've seen it. Great deal!

Thanks for the link, I'm not concerned about playback on a windows PC, just the purchase. The purchase is showing HD, not 4K. Blu-ray.com also shows the iTunes collection as being HD and not 4K.

I only saw the first one and haven't seen the others yet but I keep saying I will but haven't had the time. I bought it Dec, 2022.

I just looked at all my movies that I bought in the POTC collection and they all say 4K. I honestly would not have purchased it otherwise.

I think the second one is ok if I recall, but the others are a one time watch for me, I really like the 1st one alot and can rewatch that one over and over every now and then.

I will have to give them a try. I can't seem to watch them straight through I started the first one a few times and go through only to partially start the second one if that. I know some of the islands they filmed on and it made me want to watch it for that reason.

Apple will always say HD even when purchasing but they give you the highest quality version that they have so these will all be in 4K and port in 4K to MoviesAnywhere. It is part of the reason people like buying their movies on iTunes because if a HD film becomes 4K down the road, you will get that 4K upgrade on iTunes for free.
