The 40 series is fine, 4070 and up, it's just the pricing that sucks. They are also more power efficient than the 30 series
Id rather wait for the revised 12vhpwr connector that comes on the 50 series
Especially since the cards are not being warrantied for that part when it melts or burns
Odd they put a 500w power supply in this. I'm pretty sure they are throttling the power limit on this CPU. It's not a K series chip so no overclocking. You can probably use Throttle Stop to set PL1 and PL2 higher, but why. The power supply can't handle it.
Dells are the most proprietary builder and odds are you can't swap out the PSU.
If you want a prebuilt get a Lenovo because they are almost always standard parts that you can swap out. Or better yet, get a build from a system integrator.
I agree with me fellow elitists. You can get way better deals with 4070s if you keep looking. I found a HP Omen 45l with a 4070 ti, 64gb RAM and its liquid cooled and has a 1000 watt power supply for $1150 (not on any dealer sites)

edit
14700F (253W)
RTX 4060 Ti (165W )
Add another 100W for MB, RAM, SSD
IDK...Just odd they would do that
