Wireless - I have this. Fyi, in my experience, if the camera is not armed, the motion doesn't turn on lights.

battery is good.. but its annoy to have to replace the battery every 6-12 month
much easier just get a POE camera system for ~$100 for a DVR set with 4 cameras. most system has build-in flood light as well and only a single ethernet cable is needed.

This system is ok to say the least. The motion functions only work when armed as someone pointed out and I didn't want to arm mine during the day. Sometimes the app takes a while to connect to the cameras (I have two). Caught this on the Home Depot or Lowe's deal a few months back
