I received an email yesterday that OneOpinion is closing on 8/8/24. They want you to sign up for a site called Valued Opinions instead. If you don't reach 25,000 points to redeem before then, you are SH*T OUT OF LUCK and your points are GONE. No option to transfer them to new site. I have 6,500 as of today.
It use to be a decent site a few years ago but has gone steadily down hill with longer surveys and less points rewarded.
I did a Google search on Valued Opinions and it had some great reviews that sounded too good to be true for a survey site. A lot of BAD REVIEWS about closing accounts for no reason, no response from customer service and being disqualified after doing almost the whole survey. The reviews that bothered me the most were that they forced you to send a copy of your drivers license and a photo before your could redeem for a reward.
I value my privacy too much to send anyone that info just to redeem for a GC, I will pass on this.

Thanks for the heads up.
Here are my observations.
OneOpinion, Valued Opinions, E-Rewards,etc are all owned by a company called, Dynata from Plano,Texas and their business model has been trashy for several years.
They are the ugly step child of a merger between companies about 4-5 years ago, Research Now SSI becoming Dynata
i would guess their usage of needing to verify participants via Veriff for claim redemptions have ruined themselves even further with less active participation regarding customer privacy concerns.
Veriff, if i recall correctly, it validates folks via drivers licenses for redemptions of most of Dynata's survey panels and Veriff is off-shored in eastern europe . I have always wondered how Dynata would react regarding any data breaches of using Veriff in the future.
I would hope Dynata would have some liabilities if such a data breach were to occur at Veriff.
Dynata itself, should have implemented reward redemptions lower than $25 value since it intends to close shop at OneOpinion next month and screw its members of earned value.
I would assume many OneOpinion members would not feel excited to become Valued Opinion members after they shaft countless members of incentive values less than $25
It is like telling its active and inactive members we intend to screw you out of monies we have already collected from our 3rd party survey providers and please move over to Valued Opinion where none of Dynata's profit making monies will pay you for less than $25 on OneOpinion being that we own both survey panels anyways.
All, while the Dynata business keep all proceeds closing one panel and wanting folks to move over to another of its panels.
I believe companies like Dynata will meet its own maker when revenues continue to decline, year after year, (especially needing members to utilize Veriff for a small value incentive like $25 at a time or several hundred dollars in a years time).

Not really sure why OneOpinion did not require Veriff for my $25 Amazon redemption requested moments ago.
My redemption went via 6 digit text number to cell phone. entered the 6 digit code and was approved without Veriff.
Not sure that this is true to everyone. They show Veriff there, but have never used Veriff nor do i want too.
Last time i used Valued Opinion, the redemption threshold was $10, not sure if that has ever changed. Never used Veriff there as well, nor at E-rewards and their other panels over the years.
At the time you posted this thread, i had about ten bucks in my oneopinion account balance and visited several times since the 9th and made it over the $25 threshold to $28.
went and grabbed $25 amazon g.c. and will ponder whether i can succeed to another $25 award before the 8th of next month.
I got my $25 amazon in my inbox after redeeming the $25 reward level. the amazon g.c. arrived moments after my cellphone 6 digit code. already applied the amazon g.c. to my amazon acct as expected.
All i do know for sure, is to be very careful earning $600 value from any and all Dynata survey panels combined in a calender year otherwise, you will get a IRS 1099-K
That happened one year about a decade ago, and i have never on purpose earned more than $599 bucks.
