Amazing deal, ETA Calibre 2892-2 movement, reliable vendor, decent price. If this is your style - go for it.

The fun of a nice automatic is watching the smooth second hand movement, so this is not a watch I am buying.

Does this watch have a second hand?
Nope. Only reason I am not buying.

I'm really wanting to get my first Hamilton automatic and would like a second hand on the watch as well. Which Hamilton (men's) would you recommend?

I really wanted one but my tiny 6.25" wrists won't allow it.

I'm sure this watch is in a different league, but it looks nearly identical to my $30 Skagen from a deal here a few weeks ago

I'm looking for a very nice dress watch and I just had a look at that watch. Looks really nice…maybe it's just me, but that watch doesn't give the look of a classy dress watch for a semi-formal/formal occasion/event. Like I mentioned it could be just my taste and how the watch looks to me.

The watch listed in this post just looks so much more classier albeit it doesn't have a second hand. But maybe that's not a deal breaker for some?

Correct, this is more of a dress watch than the khaki. Not having a second hand kind of adds to the minimalist design, but a disadvantage is not really knowing if the watch is working.

Omega and Breitling have used versions of the ETA 2892 movement.

Crazy deal! Thanks for sharing. Amazing to find a watch with an ETA Calibre 2892-2 in it, automatic, for only $300. I will probably get it soon! thanks

I agree!! But the lack of a second hand is still putting me on the fence.

Just want to put a small warning for this website company. I bought the watch but received a different color. I try to get an exchange but per their policy, they only do refunds and you have to pay for the return shipping.

Agree. This is a dress watch with a classic dress watch dial and case, it must be 36.5 mm-38.5 mm max for me to buy.
They used to make a 37mm version.

Khaki is a field watch. There are some Jazzmaster versions with second hands. You could also go with a Broadway for something more casual while still looking somewhat presentable with a second hand. Whether or not a deal is available is up in the air but you can find gray dealers like Ashford or Jomashop and they should have some frequent "sales".
