If you're not in a hurry, you could possibly wait for the holiday season. I fetched a sealed 4-pack off FB market shortly after Christmas for $50.

They go on sale around that time as well, so this particular deal isn't all that new, although $75 is nice. Before my marketplace find, I had purchased a 4-pack for $79 from Walmart during Black Friday that I ended up returning since the return window was extended for the holiday season.
while MSRP is not a deal at all, I get mine direct from apple so I can customize with an emoji. this is helpful for telling my airtags apart.

I suppose you could get this deal and draw some emojis or A, B, C, etc. on your new airtags as a DIY workaround

I bought an AirTag and used it for about a week. It fell off of my keychain on the street and was ran over by a car and it completely stopped working after that Frown

I'm really disappointed with my AirTags. Before purchasing I didn't realize how they worked. To obtain its location it relies on nearby iPhones therefore when an iPhone is not nearby, the location is not updated. I thought that I would be able to track my suitcase as it traveled from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. I thought I would be able to see it move around the airport from the bag drop at check
In, through the terminals at both air ports through to baggage claim. But none of that was actually what happened. It only showed the location at the bagdrop and also when it was at baggage claim at arrival and nothing in between. Now knowing how it works, this of course makes sense, but don't think that you can put this on your dog's collar and if you lose your dog in the unpopulated area or in the woods that you will be able to track your dog because that will just not happen. So as long as you understand how these work, make your purchasing decision accordingly 😎

Figures. I just bought a 4 pack from Amazon 2 days ago for $79.99, lol. And I've already received, opened and paired the airtags.
I returned air tags on Amazon because there was a better deal. I've already opened one and linked it to my phone. I put it back together like original and they accepted my return. I totally forgot I had it linked to my phone and apparently they sold it to someone because I was tracking it. Lol

Buy this one and return the first order with the unopened box.
For $5, that is too much labor, dont you think? Wasteful all around.

Staples have these for $20 dollars each. I would check there first if you do not need multiples of 4.

Lol. Did you think you were getting some military grade, satellite enabled tracking device for less than $25 and with no other fees

I'm new to airtags and bought them recently for tracking luggage on a trip. I won't be traveling again until December, is there a way to conserve the battery via my phone or the best thing to do is pop the batteries out? I know the battery lasts awhile but I don't need to track anything for many months until my next trip.

I did not realize this. How do I turn this off on my iphone? I don't want people using my iphone for their airtag purposes.

Yeah, not to mention that I already destroyed the packaging when opening it, I'm not gentle, and there's a heatwave in my area. It's not worth all of the hassle for $5.
