There are few options, normally one would use pipe to increase leverage, butt......... have these and they are pretty solid but almost never used them either for some reason, got them for like $10 at Lowes clearance section few years back.
P.S. Just learned about another function for the end as in for bolt alignment.....also helpful.

Man that brings back memories of setting steel. Of course, that was 25 years ago lol. Seems like a good price.

Metric scale? This can't be the "original" wrench.

No, they stopped selling the bushel version a few years ago.

No, but it's the original made in China spud wrench...

I would not recommend sleeving a pipe or conduit over the end for more leverage on any knuckle-buster. Bolt hole alignment is the move.

And even if someone didn't already know, it says right in the description that it is "for easy alignment of bolt holes."

Things like this are super useful for working on cars too, though for automotive work the spud is usually paired with a pry bar on the other end since Crescent wrenches are rarely the best tool for the job.

Did you install this one that fell on my daughter's apartment?

If he did, he probably won't be admitting to it. 🤣

Edit: Sorry. To be clear, I wasn't making fun of that accident. Sorry to hear that 1 person died & 5 were injured. Hopefully, your daughter wasn't one of these 6 unlucky folks.

So (assuming she wasn't one of those folks), did this thing hit any part of her own apartment? If so, what was her 'remedy' that was (I assume) provided by the complex owner? Just curious.

I can't believe the jury awarded almost 1 billion dollars to the family of that deceased lady. That seems pretty excessive. I know they'll appeal that decision (or have already done so) & the award will likely be cut by 50%-75%.

But in the end, the lawyers get a fairly large portion of these types of court decisions. This is why many companies forego a jury trial & go straight to settling out of court.
