Anyone know when or if Ring will produce a touchscreen control panel like other modern security systems that offer home automation?
You have a phone, right? There's an app for that.

Just picked up the Ring Alarm
Pro 8 Piece normally $299 at Micro Center on sale brand new for $129.99. https://www.microcenter.com/produ...it-8-piece.
This is by far the best deal out there right now.
Putting this in my wife's new Vintage Store and it really helps the budget.

Yes, I know there is an app. The app is not a substitute for a control panel. The control panel really matters when you need to let people into the house when you are not there and can't be available to use the app or when the internet is down or you are in an area with poor internet.

Only includes 3 Window/Door sensors. What is the cheapest way to get several more of those?

Multipacks of refurb on Amazon aren't bad.

For those with an old disabled Brinks or ADT alarm system and wants to reuse all the wiring and sensors, you can get this kit and replace the control panel and keypad to get it working again without subscription.

If your home is wired for an alarm system there is a bridge Ring sells. Much better and cleaner than doing all these contact sensors.

I have an Amazon Echo Hub, I think you can use it with the Ring Alarm system but I am not sure.

The 8 piece kit on Amazon is $30 more than Costco's. Your link is only for the 5 piece kit. This deal for 8.

Not sure why you think it's useless without subscription. I've been using ring alarm system for both my properties for years without subscription. Without subscription it just won't call policy for you when alarm is triggered, which is called "self monitoring".
The ring doorbell will work, but the ring alarm won't. Any ring alarm base purchased after 3/29/23 requires ring protect plan subscription to work.

The window and door sensor itself require you to own Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro base.

These items are a bait to get you to pay monthly $14 for rest of your life. If you don't pay, the app is useless and you get no notifications.
Try to find something where you can use the app, self manage your home and alarm system, and pay only when you take additional services like facial recognition or human monitoring.

Save your money and find something else with no monthly fee. Ring system is a brick without paying monthly fee.
well if you don't understand something, saying nothing make you look smarter
