Not a fan of the bottom of these slides as they don't have a way to channel water out from under the slides. On a smooth surface, water will get trapped between the slide and the surface, causing your foot to hydroplane. The shower slides aren't much better. The Adicane slide tread is much better.

Does it make sense to use it in the shower or better to get Shower slides?

Nope. The comfort slides have soft soles. So much more comfortable than these.

Yes. These are good for showers since it does not absorb water and it can easily be wiped and/or dried off.

Shower slides are one piece slippers with no stitching on the edges so no water gets dropped. It's also a little more arched up front

I bought these last time they were front page. They are uncomfortable as hell. There is a huge hard bump for the arch of the foot, and the hard edge of the upper digs into my foot. It is not "soft cushioning" or "plush comfort" whatsoever. Good for very short walks from the pool to the house, or locker to the shower.

I have these and Crocs and use them in rotation.

These Adidas seem to have unisex slimness and so tighter with no room for socks. Harder than Crocs but sometimes the arch of these make my feet happier. Also a plus these are more odor resistant than Crocs. And they are built tough.

Crocs are softer and maybe slightly less heavy and they are wider good for socks. Crocs seem to build up foot odor quicker.

Instead of saying better or worse in general, I say Adidas and Croc slides are different from each other.

We have hardwood in 1/2 the house, so I've got in the habit of wearing slides as house slippers, easier on the feet, keeps the floors cleaner. Anyhow, I've worn these in that role over a period of time, and now a pair of Crocs slides. Personally I prefer the Crocs slides for that purpose, as I found that over time the Adidas slides foam gets more porous as it breaks down, trapping more skin oil and dirt. For me the Crocs foam has not become porous like that over a longer period of time. I'll wipe the footbed with a couple baby wipes every few weeks, or if I notice foot odor, and they continue to work well.
