I purchased this for my daughter last year during BF. It was 10 bucks cheaper from Sephora and had much higher cash back rate, 20%.

In any case, we don't own the Dyson one, but this is too powerful and too hot. We use it on medium power and heat. My daughter enjoys the attachments the most. Helps them with their styling.

I plan to buy another one for college this BF again. Recommended if you make use of the attachments.

If you have an Ulta membership, there's coupons for 10% to 20% depending on your tier. There was also 10% off pickup orders if in stock at your local Ulta.

Bought for my daughter. She previously had the Dyson (bought refurbished directly from Dyson) which she loved, but stopped working after about 3 or 4 yrs. Her mom, my ex, broke it (grrr). So curious to see which she will like better.

Bought one for my wife last Christmas. Spent weeks going between this and Dyson. She absolutely loves it and we got my teenage daughter one also because she kept taking it to her bathroom.

I have extremely long hair past my waist. The texture of it is thick and coarse. I've tried tons of blow dryers on the market, including the Dyson and my shark blows every dryer I've tried absolutely out of the water. I'm sold on shark hair for life.
