I own one these and I really like it. I would definitely recommend it. They don't go on sale that often and this price is as low as you are going to find it.

For those that don't understand that the biggest selling point of this model is the fact that you can leave the extendable table top folded down and only use it when needed, I don't know what to say to you. You don't need to leave this chest in the middle of the room! 🤦

I did replace the two static wheels with two swivel wheels and definitely think it's worth the cost to do that. I bought the appropriate size casters from Harbor Freight and they work just fine. (I believe I used their 4" Solid Polyurethane Swivel Caster sku#69847 which currently retail for $7 each).

I have this in my garage with a lot of tools in it. It's heavy, but still easy to move around (especially after replacing the fixed casters) and I pull it out and raise the extended top quite often when I need a work surface. This chest really saves a lot of space compared to having a tool chest AND a large work bench. Plus the fact that the extended table is normally folded down means I can't pile a bunch of crap on it! šŸ˜‰

Here is a stock image of extended table in it's folded position. It's only about 2" deeper than their regular chest without the extended table.

Wow. Did posting that make you feel more powerful because you felt you were right about something on the Internet that no one cares about our even remembers you saying? šŸ’ŖšŸ’ŖšŸ’ŖšŸ¤¦

The chest works just fine as designed. Did I feel like it was worth $15 to change out the fixes caster to swivel casters? Sure. Does the fact that it came with fixed casters make it a terrible product that is "unusable"? Absolutely not. The only thing you "proved" with your comments is that you are a small minded person.

If $15 is too much to spend for the extra convenience that all swivel casters provides, then don't swap them out. The chest works fine with the two fixed casters.

Not sure how I feel about the design. It has a limited number of placements to be usable. It either needs to be in the middle of a room or the short side needs to be against a wall.

I agree... not sure where I would put this in the garage to be able to utilize the full length of the table

It's literally perfect for an infeed or outfeed table for a tablesaw.

Agreed. Picture 10 does show the back side of the table folding down which could help for when it's stored but it would take up more space when the table is up.

Have you ever tried to move a full toolbox that has 2 fixed casters and 2 rotating casters?

The wheels are there for placement of the box. Not regular movement.

So, where is the tablesaw in your scenario? It's not going to be on this.

So, it has to be on another stand on the back side of this cart.

It still means this thing needs to be in the middle of a room or with a short side to a wall.

Lol wut. This is to place behind your tablesaw as outfeed support. Of course your tablesaw would be in the middle of your shop, it's literally the heart of the workspace.

I regularly move my much larger and much heavier (well over 2000lbs loaded) Husky toolbox that is 100% full of tools and it moves very easily. I don't know if these are exactly the same casters or not, but the ones on my toolbox are excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these toolboxes/workbenches if you need something like this.
