Overview: If Samsung is processing trade-ins like prior deals, you will receive instructions by email--along with a prepaid shipping label--around the time your new Buds arrives. You can also print the label from your online Samsung account.
You will send in the old earbuds/headphones only (no boxes, chargers, cases, etc.). Good practice: Make a VIDEO and take photos of the trade-in to prove the condition if Samsung challenges you after inspecting it.
When/how will I get instructions for trading in my device? Samsung will send you an email with the subject "Welcome to the Samsung Trade-In Program." The email will arrive anywhere from the day the new Buds ships to a few days after the Buds arrives. It includes a link to download a pre-paid shipping label. You have 15 days from receipt of the email to ship the trade in. You can also get the shipping label for the trade in from your online Samsung account under order details.

I don't know if my ears will fit well with buds3 pro, and my buds2 pro works still fine after 2 years of usage. I can keep it for back-up or for future trade-in purpose. probably for buds4 pro lol

• When I ship back to Samsung the device I'm trading in, should I send the charger, case, or other accessories with the device?
No – you should ship only the device, including S-Pen for Galaxy phones, to Samsung, and if you no longer need them, discard the other accessories following your local trash and recycling regulations. Trade-in value is available only for the device. If you do ship accessories back with the device, we will not return those accessories.
The Airpod case is not really a "case" in the traditional sense like a phone. I recommend asking Samsung through a chat and posting their response back here.

Changed my mind and was in the same boat. Start a chat with Samsung and tell them you would like help applying the reservation credit to a new order and they will build a cart for you and send it via app/email link. I was able to order the watch with the credit too after having them build the cart
