Has anybody seen somewhere where they no longer use nickel for the charging connectors on the Buds 3 pro? The Buds pro 2 gave me ear infections from this. I can't find anything on this pair.

Traded my Buds+, they served me well, but the left doesn't work for call for some odd reason. The Buds Pro 2 wouldn't stay in my ears, so it was time for an upgrade. Good price at $100.40 after trade.

It is somewhat of an incestuous pool. E.g. apple wasn't the first to do fingerprint readers. And that's ok. Competition is a good thing. It breeds innovation. I for one hope both companies continue to innovate and copy, that's makes us, the consumers, the winners. You don't want to see a world where one dominates. It stifles innovation, allows manufacturers to sandbag and price gouge. If you don't believe me, see nVidia. Not only from a product perspective, they accounted for like 30+% of the s&p's market cap gains as of last month. They are so dominant their decisions can crash an entire sector of the market. That's not a good thing.

I was really hoping they would come out with another variant of the buds live. I love mine and how they don't create a "seal" in your ear canal. Much more comfortable especially at the gym or when working out. It's why I didn't trade them in for these but hoping these are more comfortable than the 2 pros.
