Has anybody seen somewhere where they no longer use nickel for the charging connectors on the Buds 3 pro? The Buds pro 2 gave me ear infections from this. I can't find anything on this pair.

Is it worth to trade in Galaxy buds 2 pro?
Probably not. The design alone is a big turn off for long time Samsung fans. The pros2 should be at least $25 more to make the jump.

The translation feature will not work. And I am assuming that there will not be any way to customize the settings on an iPhone. I found a video explaining the galaxy buds 2 pro on an iphone. It seems like you can use/borrow a samsung phone to change the settings and the settings will save. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgBQPtwTuyA . I am assuming this will be the case with the buds 3 pro
Any idea on how it compare to Airpods Pro? My Airpods are beginning to have some crackling noise. I'm wondering if I should trade them in. I realize that these won't be as seemless as Airpods but if the basic functionality works and it connects without too many issues, I might take a chance.

Buds3 pro have better drivers, and microphones are closer to face. Super wide band for mic, 16khz up from 8.

"Samsung fans" don't appreciate improvements according to some people on SD

After my 3rd attempt on the case I went ahead and ordered regardless since I have some super old Galaxy Buds gen 1 lying around and I doubt I'd get more than $75 anywhere else.

It's just weird even amazon still shows the free case via Samsung Store, but of course you pay full price.

I'm in Los Angeles and had $17 in taxes on $85 :/ They're charging taxes on the non-discounted version for some reason.
Some states require sales tax to be applied to the pre-discounted amount depending on how the coupon is written. Illinois is similar.

From reviews I've seen, Buds 3 pro are better in almost all categories. Airpods pro might have slightly better mic and ambient mode. Even Buds 2 pro already had better sound quality than airpods pro.

Paid $79.49 for a buds 3 pro yesterday around midnight. Case was OOS.
Talked to a samsung rep just now and she requested a promo code for me. It was super smooth - I didn't have to send screenshots or do anything.
What promo code did they give? Is it a promo code you can use later or a refund towards your stuff that you already bought?

I'm struggling to pull trigger at $100... I feel like we could see these for $99 to $125 range from Amazon soon. This happened with the buds2pro ..

How strict are they about the working conditions of the Apple Airpods? My microphone doesn't work, wonder if they would care to inspect it thoroughly?

You can use this modded Buds Client to change the settings via your computer and the settings don't change when connecting to another device. The dev may need to add support for the new Buds.
The buds can "remember" a lot of devices so no need to re-pair when you switch. I use multiple set of buds between Android, iOS, Mac and non Samsung devices.

Promotion code same value as the case to purchase when it comes back in Stock. They will never refund or reduce the purchasing price. It's revenue management.

I see. So you can basically get it free when it gets back to stock? I feel like for 80 bucks this is quiet a good try? I have some pure garbage headsets from Temu lying around. Lol

Unless I'm missing something, trading in a no-name brand wireless will not get the $80 price. It'll be more like $115 depending on if you use the EDU discount.

I'm trading in Buds (1st gen) for $75 making my total $93 before tax using EDU. The discount seem janky sometimes, but it was the best combo I could get. While I'm receiving the extra case, I doubt I'll really ever use it. I have the buds 2 as well but same trade in value for the pro at $75.
