Is it really $600 watch? Watch5 Pro is going for $140 on eBay after a 1-2 year

Chill, I ordered watch and earbuds myself this morning. As soon as I ordered, I thought it might help the community and posted in a hurry. To be honest, I don't need a reputation, and I don't care about it.

This website is jacked. The price says $224.99 but once I add it to the cart it goes up to $269.99. Their customer service is useless.

A tip to get the $50 reserve. Use the Samsung App, go in the left side to offers and pick your item. Add it to cart. Now if you want 12% C B, go to a browser and checkout from there. You might have to go and reactivate EDU or other discount to see the $224.99.

Do you get a bundle discount if you buy multiple items separate? I find it odd that I can't trade in watch, buds, and phone in same transaction. I keep getting different prices but when I do them separately I get the following:

Watch Ultra- 224.99 (trade in of pro 5)
Buds 3 pro- 79.99 (trade in of buds 2 pro)
Fold 6- 759.99 (trade in of fold 4)
Ring- 314.99 (WTF I cab;t trade something?!?! lol)

I am using code Q6JHB6NAMAVE to get the $50 pre order and $100 off

Comes to 1,380 before tax

When I do it all together with no trade, I get the bundle discount but can only trade in my phone

Comes out to 1,348.72 before tax also using the promo code

Granted with this option it's $38 cheaper and I can attempt to sell the watch and buds for added savings but wondering if it adds the bundle anyway if I do it separately? Someone on this thread looks like they got a bundle for a watch because of a tablet they bought earlier this month.

Of course I would use 12% back from a site on top of this.
Are you sure you get the ring with the second option? Because I don't see an option to add ring to the bundle, and without the ring the price in my shopping cart is exactly $1,348.72 with the same trade-in item.

Do they not make an ultra just with wifi?
That would have helped if they sold that for 150 less. LTE is useless on a watch, doubt that even 1% of phone owners really get an LTE connection for the watch.

Samsung is now making a square watch to look like everyone else? What happened to "be together not the same"????

How is this watch worth $600 compared to the 5 or 6?
More battery, almost twice the battery life. They claim faster with new processor. Honestly I hated all these watches until 6, displays were too small, battery and performance were crap. 6 still has crap battery but it fully charges while I shower so I stopped caring about that too. Everything else on it seems perfect.

Nobody should take this trade in deal though, these crater in price after a year as Samsung starts to bundle them with everything, you'll get a better trade in deal later. (unless you trading watch 5 pro for some reason, then its a good deal).

Honestly more interested in the ring as I don't like wearing watch to bed.

Not seeing much of a benefit to getting the Ultra over the Watch 7 44mm.

Ultra has bigger battery (590mAh vs 490mAh), bigger watch footprint but the display size is identical to the Watch 7 44mm version at 1.47", 10ATM vs 5ATM (100 meter vs 50 meter diving depth), titanium vs aluminum.

The differences do not justify the price difference to me. Plus, what is up with the lack of color options? This is an embarrassing launch for Samsung.

911 without a esim.

I wish there was a reasonable carrier out there for occasional use.

FYI...a 4 Classic goes for about $50 on ebay and provides a $300 credit
Their market values are, as expected, dumb AF. The Watch 4 market "value" is $15. I'd love to find a used one for $15. More like $60.

I am going to blame Slickdeals on this purchase. I traded-in my watch 6, which is only 4 months old to get a Watch ultra. Why? Slickdeals, of course.

One has to pay extra monthly fee w their wireless provider for the LTE right?

Entirely correct. Samsung feels it can charge extra $s since the Apple Ultra is still more expensive. Do a side by side feature comparison between the two new 7s and you'll find the Ultra is a cash grab. Enjoy

This is why apple is so bad for the world imo. I bet samsung asked apple users what they'd want to see to jump ship. Yet this will convert noone.
Exactly.

I don't care for apple stuff, and to see stuff like this annoys me.

I guess I shouldn't be super surprised when the S24/S24+ looks like a knock off iPhone. Same with user interface with newer versions of Android looking more like iOS (thought that's Google's fault).

At this point I feel like I may as well just get an iPhone, as even app support has been negatively affected since the S24/etc. doesn't support 32-bit apps anymore. Not saying Samsung is directly responsible for that, but some of the "exclusive" apps I had on Android cnt even be used anymore unless I want to get apk or whatever (which I don't).
